Saving Private Ryan. I like my action to be based on reality.

I'm the opposite, generally prefer action to be entirely fantasy. Something like Saving Private Ryan, where every horrible death portrayed most likely played out many times in reality, I fnd depressing. The scene where two surrendering Germans are shot, but they're actually speaking Polish, is horrifically depressing to me -- and it no doubt happened.

I find more enjoyment in fictional events where I don't have to consider the real implications of the action.

Black Hawk Down and Heartbreak Ridge are awesome though.

An expanded format...but “Band of Brothers” should be Numero Uno on that list. It...affected me.
