Not necessarily a fan of Putin but I'm also not a fan of starting WWIII with Russia, which is what the Marxists and RINOs seem to be pushing for. If indeed the Trump team has enough dirt on the "Muh Russia" shenanigans by the Deep State, they need to get it out sooner rather than later. I think things are starting to get dangerous.

He obviously carries a lot of emotional baggage over my support for marijuana legalization.

The Russians conquered Crimea from the Tartars in the 18th century and it has been populated by ethnic Russians ever since. As you pointed out, Crimea was put inside the Ukrainian SSR which was a mere province of the USSR in the early 20th century.

So, are we supposed to find if there are any Tartars left?

It’s all bullshit. The Democrats beat their chests and proclaim how dare the Russians meddle in our elections.

But not a peep over what the NSA or CIA are doing to them. I’d be disappointed if we WEREN’t doing anything like this.

EVERYONE does this!!

What’s so bad about Russia? You can’t believe they’re worse than China or the middle east.

Did you hear Trump say he believed Putin’s denial? I certainly didn’t. Sorry, but Russia’s snooping on our election is nothing that we or any other country hasn’t done.

I think it’s interesting you’re trying to open a dialogue with them. I’m not conciliatory enough to do the same, but I’m curious as to what they have to say for themselves.

As my profile states, I admire Condoleezza Rice (hence my username) but I don’t agree with all her decisions nor that of the GOP interventionist establishment.

I am also no fan of Vladimir Putin or the Russia he has built from the rubble of the Soviet Union. I am a Christian who believes in the ecumenical family of the historic confessions: Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox - but am deeply critical of the Russian Orthodox Church.

I am a believer in the West and in the consolidation and integrity of historic European Christendom, but not its socialist counterfeit: the European Union.

I believe Vladimir Putin and his team of kleptocrat oligarchs are the enemy of the Russian people. They have looted their people’s resources, rights, and freedoms for the better part of two plus decades. I am aware that no amount of World Cup glitz and glamour can conceal the deep, underlying problems holding Russia back from developing its full economic and social potential.

I am also aware that like Kim Jong Un, the Putin regime relies on militaristic brinkmanship and siege mentality to keep the Russian people in line. And it works as Russians are weary of putting up a fight in light of their traumatic history.

Both North Korea and Russia use America as a distraction and scapegoat from their own governments’ corruptions and acts of criminality. The same way our own American ‘Deep State’ is currently trying use Russia in the same vein.

I believe if America adopts a peaceful, conciliatory “Art of the Deal” posture as Trump did in both Singapore and Helsinki: then we are actually doing MORE not LESS to undermine these adversarial regimes.

I believe the Russian people in time, will stand up against Putin and his kleptocracy. Peacefully and without any interference on our part. Just as what took place in Armenia last April against the Kremlin-propped government led by Serzh Sargsyan. (Their new PM is Nikol Pashinyan.)

I believe Georgia will join NATO and also permanently leave Putin’s sphere of influence.

I believe Russian ally Iran will also face regime ouster without our help.

And Russia will be next. Not tomorrow. But in a few years.

“I believe Georgia will join NATO and also permanently leave Putin’s sphere of influence.”

That’s some wishful thinking right there.

The discredited and crumbling NATO doesn’t want them. And likely won’t exist in a mere 5 years from now.

Hmm...maybe you are right. Then they will just be independent then. Point is. They refuse to stay under Putin’s thumb.

The Soviet Army lost nearly 600,000 men in defense of Ukraine in WWII.

And the Russians have nearly that many buried in Crimea from all the wars they fought there against damn near everyone.

How can anyone reasonably say that’s not their exclusive sphere of influence?

Stalin killed something like 7 to 10 million Ukrainians in 1932 and 1933 alone. When Hitler invaded many Ukrainians prefered the Nazi devils to the Communist ones.

A good portion of western Ukraine was once part of Poland. Russian and Ukrainian are not the same language. Do the Ukrainian people not have a say in their own destiny?

Are you on Putin’s payroll? You Putin apologists make me sick.

The CIA was responsible for all that, as they were with trying to defeat Trump, and Reagan for that matter. The deep state took control when JFK died.

That’s all over now for the most part. It’s been the CIA vs. the military and the military finally won. Yeah, they’re fighting for us.

It is difficult to make a 180 degree turn and have everyone follow it. Hopefully this latest Goebbelsmedia Wiley Coyote delivery from Acme will follow all its predecessors.

Russia was one of the first nations to recognize the US as a new nation.

There is no reason that a state of hostility exist between the US and Russia. There should be a united front against radical Islam in the fight to preserve Western Civilization.

I’m alt right

I’m somewhat white nationalist

That’s no secret to anyone here

I’m happy anyone who shares an appreciation for western civilization and our founders dreams

And historical context

I do not think a non white majority here is good or deserved if imported

I’m not real impressed otherwise and have spent a third of my 60 years in developing nation non white nations where the fault is actually with the people sad to say

There is “Russia” and there is “Putin’s Russia.” - I make a distinction.

Don’t get me wrong, even under Putin, there are short term practical areas of cooperation between our governments. I mean we did ally with the Soviets in WWII after all...

But fundamentally: Putin’s Russia is an adversary. Not a military one though. Standing up for Western Christendom does not necessitate nuclear arms!

And I repeat, Putin, his oligarchs, and his State propaganda media complex are enemies of the Russian people first and foremost. Their Deep State puts even ours to shame.

I’m not sure what you are looking for. I don’t see Russia as evil enemy. The Soviets are gone. We should be their allies against the Islamic hordes, China, and India. Shame we have people stuck in history.

The Deep State Swamp knows Putin has a ,ot on them and it terrifies them - Schumer tried to stop the private meeting and Rosenstein has his grandstand indictment Presser just before the meeting - now they are all claiming (like Stzrok) that to disbelieve the Intel Agencies is “treason” and want to know every word spoken so they can spin up better lies to protect themselves....the “collusion” they fear the most is what Putin may decide to tell Trump and the proof that exists for it....
