MARTINSBURG Thunderstorms are in the forecast for the next few days, but on Friday night a different type of phenomenon hit the Mountain State: Stormy Daniels.
The adult film star and stripper, who is suing President Donald Trump over a nondisclosure agreement regarding a sexual encounter with the president in 2006, took the stage at Lust Gentlemens Club in Martinsburg Friday. The show was one of two at the club, the other slated for Saturday night, as part of Daniels nationwide tour.
General Manager Robert Austin said the stars appearance was a notable event for the club and for Martinsburg as a whole.
With the political landscape what it is right now and her being a notable figure, it was a really good thing for us, he said.
Daniels was slated to take the stage at 10 p.m., according to Lusts website. However, her bus arrived at the club around 10:30 p.m. Daniels didnt enter the club until about midnight after food was ordered to the bus.
Dressed in a signature red riding hood outfit, Daniels flashed a smile as one of her bodyguards carried her inside the club and moments later, she took the stage and began her stripping performance.
Daniels did not respond to questions and her bodyguards and club personnel denied media access to the performer.
The performance brought in about 250 people, according to Austin.
The show was a success, Austin said. Everybody made money.
Daniels performance came on the heels of being arrested at an appearance in Columbus, Ohio. Daniels was arrested and accused of illegally rubbing undercover police officers faces against her bare breasts during a performance at Sirens Gentlemens Club, according to Associated Press reports. The charges were later dropped as law enforcement said her arrest was a mistake.
Daniels attorney, Michael Avenatti, and the actress have said they believe the arrest was a set-up, motivated by political leanings. The Columbus Police have denied any political motivation.
At Fridays performance, Daniels bodyguards described the arrest as crazy and another member of her entourage was noted saying he believed the arrest was a political set up.
Nearly 70 percent of voters in West Virginia voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 general election. About 66 percent of Berkeley County voters cast their ballot for the current president. The pro-Trump attitudes didnt seem to affect turnout or perception for Daniels performance, according to Austin.
Ninety-five percent of our feedback has been positive, Austin said.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was set to continue her tour at Platinum Plus in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her lawsuit against Trump arguing to be released from the nondisclosure agreement about the affair because he did not sign it, Daniels also filed a defamation lawsuit against the president in May for statements he made on Twitter and is suing Trumps personal lawyer Michael Cohen and her own former lawyer for collusion to benefit Trump.
Twenty dollars is a normal cover charge though it might have been quite a bit more with such a “celebrity” in the house. Drinks are more expensive than in a regular bar and so is food. And of course you’re expected to give the dancer folded-up dollar bills (or higher denominations) on a regular basis to show your appreciation for her “entertaining” you, not to mention “lap dances” and private shows which can end up costing hundreds if not thousands of dollars. In a typical stripper arrangement the girls actually pay the club owner for the privilege of dancing and collecting tips.
I’ve had QUITE A BIT BETTER and I’ve weighed from 300lbs to 400lbs most of my adult life.
The old Porny Stripper is really milking her 15 minutes for far more than she deserved.
I guess in a sick and twisted way I kinda understand it. She’s already an admitted prostitute to the entire world. She might as well cash in for as much as she can.
I do wish we didn’t have to read about it here on FR though. I like to think there’s a better standard here than to give her more attention than she deserves.
I wonder what her taxes returns look like?
Hairdressers, waitress's and many who get tips in their field of employment are required to claim ‘TIPS’ WHAT ABOUT THIS STRIPPER TRAMP?
Disgusting that men, especially poor in WV will waste their families money in such a form...smh...I've never been able to understand that...
(as a kid, I recall when carnivals came to our small town, and the ‘hooch’ tent went up we kids would always be peeking in to see what REALLY went on in there!!! LMAO )
