Pattisapu, Aguirre, LaKeisha, LeBlanc, Jimenez. What country are we in?That's part of the reason I'm losing interest in baseball.
Here are some of the ...
Top 10 Most Popular Last Names in Baseball:
- Rodriguez (10)
- Johnson (9)
- Gonzalez (9)
- Ramirez (7)
- Sanchez (7)
- Martinez (7)
- Cabrera (6)
I'm also losing interest because no team wants to play "small ball" anymore. Every at bat is little more than an extension of Home Run Derby.

Don’t know about the others, but Le Blanc is a name widespread in the U.S., and Canada. Nearly all Le Blancs here were French Acadians going back to Daniel Le Blanc in Canada. When the Acadians were being oppressed during the 17th-18th century, they migrated elsewhere in Canada and the U.S., especially to Louisiana. It is a long time Canadian/American name. Every family name has its share of socialist idiots.

Exactly the names I would expect in chemical plant industry towns of Southeast Texas.
