I read in another article that he said something like “Colonel Sanders said ‘n[egro]’ all the time.” It was during a phonecall with a marketing firm, discussing how to handle touchy PR problems. Is there any evidence he actually used the N-word in an intentionally insulting way?

Exactly! And when will these people learn that an apology never helps. They’ll persecute you either way, so why bother?

That’s exactly what happened. He referred to its use in an insulting context by Col Sanders. Obama did the same thing on a public radio show while president and the media yawned I guess because of black privilege. Bill Maher used it as his words but as a joke and held onto his job because he’s a lib.

Bottom line is there is zero benefit to not just referring to it as the n-word. If you are white and not a socialist in good standing, the SJW’s will destroy you. Destroy you. He’s being called a racist for referring to its racist use by someone else?! It’s BS, but you have to be smart and we have up ruthlessly demand that they abide by their rules, even if it doesn’t work most of the time. They should be made to worry that there’s a chance that they’ll be irreparably damaged too.
