Sarcasm noted, but nothing the AM Shooting Journal or IronJack said was inaccurate.

AMSJ said, "... it is known for its use by the Union forces during the American Civil War in the 1860s, which was the first time it was employed in combat."

IronJack said,"Gatlings were used very rarely in the Civil War."

Neither statement is mutually exclusive or wrong.
