I’m a big supporter of the Electoral College but the data here is inaccurate.

Trump did not win 3,084 of 3,141 counties!

If so, that would have been the most epic landslide of all time.

Here's a site I found that says Trump won 2600 counties to Clinton's 500

This seems to better correlate to actual results.

Another interesting factoid, Clinton won 88 of the highest populated 100 counties. Without those counties, she would have lost the "popular" vote by 11.5 million votes.

This makes a great argument for the Electoral College.
