To be fair, I thought they weren’t admissible in court due to people being able to spoof them?

Spoofing it means passing it despite lying during the exam. But this is a case where it did detect lying, so the question becomes, what is the subject matter about which Strzok was untruthful during the exam?

Spoofing is one problem. False positives are the bigger problem. Interview 100 people over a bank robbery and you will find a significant percentage of innocent people who seem guilty. Likewise you can miss the guilty person.
