Not authentic. Paper from the late 1700s was made of rag cloth, not paper like now. I have several books and newspapers from the 1770s to 1790s and they are as clean and white as when new except for very light browning on some of the edges called "foxing." I also have some newspapers and books from the early 1900s that are now brown and brittle with age,
