Court documents approved for release in the lead-up to a massive Justice Department watchdog report on the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email account offer fodder for both critics and defenders of the bureau's work.
The newly-unsealed court filings, obtained by POLITICO, may well serve as a Rorschach test about the Clinton email probe. They demonstrate that the FBI's investigation did not rely solely on the voluntary cooperation of those involved, since agents and prosecutors used a combination of search warrants and other court orders to gain evidence relevant to the probe.
At the same time, the records do not contradict complaints by Republicans that the FBI chose not to use grand jury subpoenas to demand testimony from top Clinton aides, not to get search warrants access to laptops Clintons' lawyers used to review her emails and never sought the personal phones and similar devices used by her top aides.

They should write a law against keeping secrets on an unsecured personal server.
I believe that falls under current Espionage Law, for what other reason would one place such files on an unsecured server, that it would be easily exploited or pass codes provided to actors?
Until Comey is indicted, arrested and faces some hard prison time, all this will come to nothing.

DUH, the agency obtained Weiner’s laptop via a criminal investigation. “did not rely solely on th voluntary cooperation of those involved”.
When did Huma, Hillary, DNC, etc cooperate in these investigations? Has the FBI had access to the supposedly hacked DNC server yet?
“”””They should write a law against keeping secrets on an unsecured personal server. “”””
True dat. They should also write a law that says you can’t destroy evidence and withhold thousands of emails from investigators.
James Comey, and HRC, for all intent and purpose, ARE STILL running the DOJ!!!
That law was written years ago. It doesn't matter when a corrupt DOJ and FBI decide not to prosecute by inventing something that is not in the law, requiring a finding of "criminal intent".
Delay and red tape are the weapons of the deep state.
Whether it’s the Hillary probe, Spygate, or deporting illegals, the deep state delays and obfuscates and the guilty escape justice.

There is no something for the defenders of the FBI/DOJ in this - and stop dividing the baby in half - it was a coordinated conspiracy. No grand jury means the fix was in not to indict Hillary.
p
Finally, a sensible solution!
You’re correct
Been true since Hillary dropped a piece of Whitewater paperwork on a table at the WH. Looking back now that action revealed the contempt she holds all men in. She lives only for her needs like all parasites. Everything she did before and after is rooted in the same contempt for everyone who gets in her way. Yesterday, I viewed a photograph of young Hillary. She looked like the little girl in the movie, “The Bad Seed”. The steely contempt beneath the posed smile.
Excellent!
