Agreed. I was a huge fan of Gowdy back in 2011 when he came on the scene. I viewed him as honest and moral to the core, but also fearless with a bulldogs drive to find the truth, expose incompetence, and uncover the truth.
Unfortunately, he has produced mostly words in the past 7 years and few results.
And his timidity since Trumps election is curious. Why would he not want to become Attorney General or Solicitor General?
Im guessing that his past is not pristine and he received an unmarked letter or untraceable phone call threatening exposure. And, to not put his family through a confirmation hearing, he decided to leave the Congress entirely and go back into private practice.
Bet he will be a new FoxNews contributor when he leaves office.
