SeeI would use it for water softeners like you said, or bag it as road salt for the wintertimes. Sell it in bulk to cities for their stockpiles for the salt trucks.

Nah, the nutbags living in their castles along the coastline and driving their Lamborghinis and riding Ducatis won’t stand for it; “defaces the beauty of the beaches and the sea”, they say.
Hope they have earthquake insurance...

Israel has the best desalination plants in the world (they use a membrane, likely how Korea came upon theirs) and they also have machines that can generate water out of air.

“Could solve California’s water problem”

Rat Politicians don't want to solve it. Just like Socialized Health-care, if you control it, you control the people. Gov. Moonbeam has already started the process by limiting water per person starting in four years. Pure evil in this State. Look no further than the Bullet Train. The brain dead dimwit Voters that narrowly approve the measure were told it would be a 40 Billion project. Well it is at 77 billion now and highly likely it will wind up at 100 Billion and it is still eleven years off from being "partially" operational. There is no rational reason that is monstrosity hasn't been killed off other than Fat Cat Dems like Fienstein are making a killing off of it.
