Yesterday Rush predicted this is exactly what would happen - the issue is not the issue, attacking Trump is the issue.
This was completely expected. I expected it. I talked about it to my friends. I was sorely disappointed that Trump caved on this one.
In fact, Trump caved like a deep state republican. It’s the ol’ Lucy and football thing.
He had to have seen it coming, so there is something going on here we are not aware of, I suspect.

The left treats Trump like the muslim world treats Israel. They do not believe in the right of Trump or Israel to exist.
It drives the muslim world absolutely insane that in the center of the muslim world there is a small Jewish state that for decades of trying, they can’t get rid of. It isn’t supposed to be like that if their god was all powerful.
The dems are the same way with Trump. He should not have been elected. It was impossible in their mind. The election was rigged, it was Hillary’s turn and Trump was a fool. Then the impossible happened, Trump won. Since then they have acted with the same insane mindset that the muslims have against Israel. They are currently in the process of destroying themselves and their country just to rid themselves of the impossible thing.
As for what Trump did yesterday, only time will tell if this is a piece of a bigger plan. You are correct in saying that no matter what Trump does, the left will claim it is bad, reckless, stupid, foolish, etc... For the most part, Trump plays with then like a cat and a laser pointer.
IF the Court in Cali refuses, then the current policy remains, i.e. the kids are held separately up to 20 days while better accommodations are found.
If the court provides relief, then the AG and other agencies are held to provide quick adjudication of the cases to keep the length of confinement to a minimum.
He is quite clear that zero tolerance will continue and provides congress / the courts an opputunity to ammend their brutal rules. I hope he and his people continue to hammer this home!
Now the news media is obsessed with the 2,000 that are separated and here now. They forget that these 2,000 didn’t come with their parents so it’s difficult to reunite them - plain idiots.

Illegals are “caught”, charged, given a court date and sent on into the country, where nine times out of ten they never ever make the court date and slip, like 12-20 million others, into the legal shadows.
