I’ve lived in 4 European countries and seen things up close. The overall numbers make the US come out fairly well but if anything, they tend to understate the differences. Most of Europe has been up until the influx of Muslim 3rd world era, been pretty homogenous. The differences in income were usually slight. The US OTOH is heterogeneous. It’s numbers carry the weight of inner city minority slums. If you don’t fit that description....if we compare say white Americans to their European cousins, the differences are easy to see right away. Americans are wealthier. It’s not even close. They have bigger homes, more land, more cars, more household appliances, etc etc.

World chess champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) had a good year.

Annually a few snobs leave the U.S. and settle in the south of France or other elite spots.

Most of western Europe is infested with Muslims. The quality of life there has suffered accordingly.

And most Europeans are denied access to guns or the freedom to use them in self defense.

“Why should I travel? I’m already here!”

I met a store manager and asked him where he was from. (Great accent.) He was from Denmark. I asked him why he’d immigrated here as Denmark has “free” everything. He was extremely bitter. He said that Muslims consumed everything. One example he used was, if you were waiting for a doctor Muslims would intimidate you into leaving. He claimed they were aggressive, nasty and violent. He was spitting mad. All in all, I think having him here was a win for the US and a loss for Denmark.

RE: World chess champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) had a good year.

The recent Norway chess tournaments were not won by Carlsen though. BOTH WERE WON BY AMERICANS.

Wesley So ( Filipino, now playing for the USA) won the Norwegian Blitz tournament.

Fabiano Caruana ( Italian, now playing for the USA ), won the Norway Chess Tournament ( Edit to add, Wesley So defeated Magnus Carlsen in their match ).

Well, you’re a lot less likely to get raped by a Muslim here than you are in Europe.

So, you are saying that Norwegian-Americans are on average, richer than Norwegians, Swedish-Americans are on average, richer than Swedish, etc. ?

as for the USA, According to a newer estimate done in 2016, there were 3.3 million Muslims living in the United States, about 1% of the total U.S. population.

The overall numbers make the US come out fairly well...

I get a chuckle reading that "Culturally and sophisticated rich" France and Italy are below "backward" Tennessee and not far from Kentucky.

Guess their fiances are tied up in Rembrandts and Rodans and there's no "bottom' in the art market.

But there's money in UT and UK season tickets!

Very true, but I doubt So and Caruana skewed average American income as much as Carlsen skewed average Norwegian income. Still, my comment was mostly tongue-in-cheek.

do you have the data, or the original source, from which you got all the U.S. vs OECD countries economic comparison charts.

I want to to do some additional analysis with the data.
