I’m disappointed in Fallout 76, having no interest in online gaming. And it sounds like Elder Scroll VI is a long way out, too. Bummer. I’m struggling with the decision of whether or not to go VR, given the outlay, so it’s a mixed year coming up.
Fallout 4 was highly and annoyingly repetitive. I bailed out on it before finishing.
I liked FO4. Watched my son play it like it was a movie.
I used to play MUDs myself, but even there the technology progressed. The last time I went to play on one of my favorites, you couldn’t keep up in the pvp unless you had a special keyboard with lots of programmable buttons to bind your commands to, loads of custom triggers and scripts, and an automapper program.
Even with all that, the guys who kept playing consistently for 30 years just have everything down to second nature by now, so you can’t compete with them.
Honestly I found it boring and went to bed. As soon as he said Fallout was in effect going to be just more MMO BS I was out of there. First they destroyed Elder Scrolls with their MMO grind and now it will be Fallout. Playing online with the community of squicky voiced trolls is about as fun as eating cotton candy in the pouring rain. And then you have to contend with the SJW fanatics shoving their correct thinking down your throat. Really people, gaming is to be an excape, but just like everything the touch, it has been turned into a mess.
Yeah, the second one was horrible. A bunch of SJW that you’re supposed to Ally with, but they’re so annoyingly SJW that you just want to shoot them. also there are like three different types of enemies and the ending sucks.
