I enjoy Tommy’s videos but I believe he’s missing something here.
Happiness is a result of happenings or fortune (luck). The Lord didn’t promise that we’d all be happy. What our Lord Jesus Christ does offer is joy. A joy that brings peace and hope. It carries us through the good and bad times. We know our time on earth is short and our focus is on the promise our Lord gives us.
I’ve been through my share of good and bad times. I am not sure I would have made it this far without the Lord being with me.
God did not promise happiness, but He did promise to be with us all the days of our life.
