It would be great for the Awan case to “explode wide open”. I read the article, but was not convinced that is finally happening.
Does anyone know if the mysterious laptop has been examined as a matter of national security? If the Awan’s want to play Atty-Client privilege (awfully dubious claim when the computer was found abandoned in a phone booth), there is ample precedent for placement of screeners to review the evidence, and not pass along actual privileged data to prosecutors. The laptop might be a red herring, but likely contains a lot of DWS corruption and Awan espionage. Until the laptop is forensically examined, this case is a farce.
It's a slow motion explosion... the final boom will happen in the fall... maybe October...
