Barr and Bee both represent the idea that a-holes deliver whereas nice people take a bit more effort to become acquainted with. Instead of gravitating toward controversy, gravitate toward good craft. Sadly, the vast majority of Hollywood is in the a-hole column, but the sooner we recognize that fact and move on the better.
The odd part is that Bee has been one of those calling for listening to the other side and promoting tolerance and harmony.
