New evidence contradicts the DOJ/FBI timeline leaked to the media

Sources say the Trump investigation initiated overseas in Great Britain, not the United States John Brennan, James Clapper, Samantha Power, Loretta Lynch were all briefed by James Comey on the alleged Russian interference into the Trump campaign, yet the Trump campaign was left in the dark According to reports, Germany, Poland and Estonia also shared communications related to members of the Trump campaign with the United States

This makes a lot of sense in explaining the Deep State push-back on providing detailed evidence to Congress. It also explains the UK-MI-5, Australian, NSA/CIA linkage to the Steele document.

I have to wonder if this was UK payback for Trump favoring Brexit and Obama opposing Brexit?

April 26, 2016: Papadopoulos has a meeting with Professor Joseph Mifsud in London. According to court documents, Papadopoulos tells the FBI that Mifsud told him about a recent trip to Moscow. Mifsud allegedly said that while he was in Moscow he met with “high-level Russian government officials” that claimed to have information on Hillary Clinton. . .

May 10, 2016: Papadopoulos agrees to meet Downer at London’s Kensington Wine Room. According to Downer, they only had one drink and he was meeting to respond to Papadopoulos’s interview with The Times. It was then that Papadopoulos referred to the information Mifsud had relayed to him about Moscow having information on Clinton. Downer, in an interview with The Australian news magazine, said articles referring to a heavy night of drinking were false. He said that “by the way, nothing [Papadopoulos] said in that conversation indicated Trump himself had been conspiring with the Russians to collect information on Hillary Clinton. It was just that this guy, [Papadopoulos], clearly knew that the Russians did have material on Hillary Clinton — but whether Trump knew or not?”

Downer also indicated that “(Papadopoulos) didn’t say Trump knew or that Trump was in any way involved in this. He said it was about Russians and Hillary Clinton; it wasn’t about Trump.” In fact, he noted that Papadopoulos “didn’t say dirt; he said material that could be damaging to (Clinton). No, he said it would be damaging. He didn’t say what it was.

It was the conversation during this meeting, according to a story in the New York Times in December 2017, that would open the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation “Crossfire Hurricane,” which was to probe any coordination between the Trump campaign and Moscow.

According to Chuck Ross with the Daily Caller Papadopoulos believed Mifsud was referring to the 30,000-plus emails Hillary Clinton had deleted from her server. Andrew McCarthy in National Review noted that this scenario makes more sense because “it was those emails that Donald Trump harped on throughout the campaign and that were in the news when Mifsud spoke with Papadopoulos in April 2016. While there are grounds for concern that Clinton’s emails were hacked, there is no proof that it happened; Clinton’s 30,000 emails are not the hacked DNC emails on which the “collusion” narrative is based.”

Floating the same talking point as Veselnitskaya months before her June 2016 approach to Trump, Jr.

One item missing from Carter's timeline should be David Corn's October 31, 2016 Mother Jones article quoting Steele, published a few weeks after Steele met an FBI agent in Rome and the same day the FBI was granted a FISA warrant to spy on Page: David Corn and the Roots of the Fusion GPS Trump Frame-up. Of no minor importance here is Corn's working relationship with Isikoff, who also figures into the timeline.

“There are no US laws against foreign countries spying on us. We can give administrative access to our communications to other countries to spy on us, circumventing all of those nasty laws we have the would prevent such activity that would otherwise need court approval.”

It’s still a pretext and would be illegal if we actually lived under rule of law. If a cop asked a neighborhood burglar to break into your house and search for your pot stash, and then report his findings back to you, we would never tolerate this and NOBODY would see it as legal. It is pure sophistry of the worst sort.

5 eyes as a method to evade US law is still illegal domestic spying. No matter what BS 3rd grade mentality excuses they use to “explain” that it’s legal.

No matter how they dress it up, 5 eyes is a device constructed by US intelligence to conduct illegal domestic spying. There is nothing legal about it.

There was no Russian dossier. It was invented out of whole cloth by Fusion and Steele. The poisoned Russian in the UK was the guy who put it in Russian vernacular to give it a veneer of authenticity.

Total fake.

Actually it was designed so that Brit intel can spy on Americans and hand then info over to the CIA. Then the CIA pretends it came from a “foreign source”, and that they broke no US law.

But this is a fiction, the conspiracy with foreign intel services to spy on Americans is precisely where the illegality happened. It’s basically the “murder for hire” concept. You don’t escape culpability by HIRING someone to do it for you.

You raise a good point, namely how deep was Corn involved in this whole Dossier hoax.

String along with me for a minute - Corn - wrote for the Nation for many years, from the far left. The Nation has been run by Katrina van Den Heuvel for decades, she being a protégé of Communist Party sympathizer cover-up operative, Victor Navasky (”Naming Names” book covering up the CPUSA’s attempts to control Hollywood and establish their own “blacklist”).

She is married to retired professor Steven F. Cohen (NYU and Princeton), who has been called, in an early 1980’s Wash. Post article, the “top Soviet apologist in the US”.

Cohen has Soviet contacts up the yingyang all the way up thru the Kremlin leader. His writings always were anti-US policy and tried to portray the Soviets as really afraid of American policies and a possible invasion or missile attack.

Navasky succeeded identified CPUSA organizer and longtime member Carey McWilliams (since the 30’s).

Line-up to Isikoff: - CORN (The Nation/Yahoo), Cohen/van Den Heuvel, Navasky, McWilliams. All reds or longtime communist sympathizers and coverup writers.
CORN has never changed his spots so what is Isikoff, if he is a legitimate writer, doing with this guy?

Also: Isikoff and Mark Hosenball; Hosenball and Philip Agee (DGI - Cuban Secret Police run by the KGB).

Do I detect a couple of common threads running through these associations?

Add in everyone connect to Fusion GPS (Ohrs), DNC, Steele, Perkins Coie (wouldn’t trust that law firm if they were the last lawyers alive). I believe AG Holder and other Obamites were associated with them, esp. with Marc Elias.

I love conspiracy theories, esp. when they are true.

Have to add MOTHER JONES magazine to CORN’s background lineage after leaving The Nation.

Mother Jones was an old creation of the remnants of SDS/NAM and a few unaffiliated Marxists to serve as a mouthpiece for a revitalized Marxist Left. They were even further to the Left than “The Progressive”, the journalistic home of Marxist leader Sidney Lens and others.

Canada is gone and so is Australia. Their govt gave millions to the Clintons. Canada like UK has criminalized free speech. They have a muslim in charge of immigration. They are like the US would be if Hillary had won.

Australia’s ruling party has dragged out Alexander Downer’s daughter to run in a constituency she hasn’t lived in for decades:

2 June: 9 News: PM, father back Downer on campaign trail
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has shut down suggestions Liberal Mayo by-election candidate Georgina Downer is unfamiliar with the local community after 20 years away from the electorate...
Ms Downer was also joined on the campaign trail by her father, Alexander Downer, who held the seat from 1984 until 2008 and served as Minister for Foreign Affairs...
https://www.9news.com.au/national/2018/06/02/11/21/downer-defends-daughter-on-campaign-trail

meanwhile, the Turnbull govt does nothing whatsoever to stop the fully-taxpayer-funded ABC broadcaster from airing anti-Trump propaganda 24/7, before during and after the election of Donald Trump.

Rupert Murdoch pulled Fox News from cable in the UK last year, on disputed grounds, just when Hannity, Sara Carter et al were getting closer to exposing the full extent of the Spygate scandal!

29 Aug 2017: BBC: Sky stops broadcasting Fox News in UK
The source said that Fox News had about 2,000 average daily viewers. The costs of distributing the US network in the UK meant it was not in 21st Century Fox’s commercial interests to continue, the source added.
However, figures from the Broadcaster’s Audience Research Board (Barb) suggest that Fox News’ average UK daily viewing figures were nearly 60,000 per day this year...
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-41087659

for me, the above is just more proof the Deep State protects its own.

there was also the attempt to get Hannity off Fox, plus a recent floater suggesting Hannity would move to Sinclair broadcasting.

drain the swamp.

5 eyes is used to spy on the general public “legally”.

This should be challenged in court. Since it’s illegal for US gov to spy on citizens without a warrant, same goes for its agents, even if those agents are foreigners.

The gov seems to think that if they’re not sending a spy a W2 or 1099, or transferring money to a foreign agency, then the spying is legal.

The above gets them out of tax consequences, but not the bill of rights.
