One site shows the average factory wage in Montgomery is $9.48 per hour. Some site called “glassdoor” (looks like and employment type site with reviews of companies, etc.) showed that a “Floor Team Member” makes $25 an hour at Hyundai.

Regardless of what they actually make in wages, not sure how increased investment in the area will be a bad thing. If the folks don’t like working for peanuts, they can go back to their old jobs at the 7-11 or wherever.

The people down there who built my two cars that came from there are well paid and quite happy. I rarely have to take them in for service also.
