The only theory that makes sense, is that Oswald was gay and was obsessed with JFK.
In order to have a homosexual relationship with JFK, Oswald knew that he had to get rid of Jackie.
On the day of the ‘assassination,’ Oswald was aiming a Jackie, but missed.
It was quite an ironic ordeal for Mr. Oswald.

I am not aware of Oswald being homosexual. If you accept the lone gunman theory and assuming Oswald as the gunman, the more plausible explanation would be that Oswald, a Communist, wanted to strike a blow against capitalism and America by taking out the leader of the free world.
