I”m growing Swiss Chard. Love the stuff. I sautee it in butter.

I grew one plant as an experiment and I did nothing to it and it grew into this beautiful plant. And before I could harvest it, the top half dissappeared. The next day the bottom half dissappeared. The next year I planted enough for the deer and me. Been eating it ever since.

Be careful not to overdo the Swiss Chard. It is loaded with oxalates, like spinach and rhubarb. Avoid overconsumption if you are prone to kidney stones or arthritis.

Vegetables in general are overrated. They are full of natural toxins.
