Both kale and chard are vastly overrated as far as flavor.
If I want fresh greens I generally stick with the Big Three;
Collard, Mustard and Turnip Greens.
Kale and chard go limp and slimy almost instantly.
Low to no flavor.
Good for those who see food primarily as a form of medicine.
Which also make good chips if you do the right - meaning don't burn them.
