If only Charles had behaved himself, not expressed his desire to be Camilla’s tampon, ended his affair with her, etc., he could’ve kept it classy. Diana began married life pretty innocent and wanting to do the right thing, so if she went off the rails toward the end, it’s hard to blame her. JMO.
While I don’t defend any of Prince Charles’s behavior, the pairing of him and Lady Diana made no sense and was doomed to fail. The age, educational, and intellectual gaps were enormous...and, of course, that Prince Charles continued his relationship with Camilla didn’t help.
