On Tuesday, Evans told The Washington Post that the tiny, wealthy nation of Qatar has agreed to pay the $100,000 fee to keep Metro open until 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, when the Capitals host Game 4. That game also is set for an 8 p.m. start.

There was a game against the Giants lat year that Howie Kendrick won with a game-winning grand slam. A substantial portion of the crowd didn’t get to see it because Metro was running its last train of the night.

Sagan fan here. The first stage of the Tour of California was on mother’s day, otherwise I would have gotten to watch both of them.
I watch Cavendish and Richie Porte of BMC. Although I think Cavendish was to blame in Stage 4 of last year’s TDF.
Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup too. They have plenty of $$, why dont they rebuild the greenhouses in Gaza that Hamas destroyed? / sarc
