Good article but I don't buy into all the Russia hysteria. I think this is about a click farm trying to make money profiling and spying on Americans just like Google and Facebook.
Big data is BIG money!

We do it all the time and suddenly we whine when someone starts doing it to us?
Our Constitutional Republic is not so weak that Russian trolls posting on social media “threaten to undermined it”
The only REAL reason for the Muller and the Russian Collusion clown show is Dems lost an election and are trying to revers the result by fraud.

It's not really in Russia's interest to undermine our democracy. Because democracy provides checks and balances. When you think about the alternatives to democracy, all of them would be more dangerous for Russia. It may be in Russia's interest to:
- Influence America's elections to elect leaders more sympathetic or aligned with Russian interests.
- Elect leaders that could be bribed to sell them our uranium mines.
- Elect leaders that have a reasonable perspective on the middle east.
- Elect leaders that will bring strength to the US and world economy.
- Elect incompetent leaders that will allow hacking of US technology and military secrets.
- Reduce American influence by tying them up in internal investigations
So minor subversious may be in Russia's interest but they all carry risks to Russia that someone assumes power in America that is far worse than a democracy.

If America were a democracy, instead of the Constitutional Republic it actually is, this article would make sense.
How can people this ignorant get paid to write? The dumbing down is proceeding nicely.

No. But there are plenty of Americans determined on hating the USSR back into existence.

Honestly, while I wouldn’t be surprised if the Russians DID try to subvert the electoral process and undermine America’s processes, I am absolutely sure that they weren’t backing Donald Trump. Actually, if anything, Vladimir Putin with his desire to restore the USSR would if anything back Hillary Clinton if he wanted to take America down, and that’s IF he was involved in any subterfuge in the American elections. Why would he want to subvert the election process to elect someone who would squash his chances at restoring the USSR? That makes zero sense. Had I been a Russian nationalist/USSR oldie like Putin and I wanted to interfere with an American election, I’d specifically make sure that the candidate that will do the most damage to America would win the election and turn it into another globalist state, NOT elect a guy who has a chance of actually restoring America to its founding principles and thus restore America to its greatest glory. Think how the German Empire sent Lenin specifically to take down Russia.
