They have a new trick. They only test if you’re injured on the job.
If its not bad they go to their own doctor and pay it themselves.
If you have to go to the hospital, and you have a hot drug test....
First, you get fired, then workers compensation won’t pay the hospital bill, and finally, you get stuck with the bill.
So they don’t have to pay screen you and then don’t have to pay if your hot.
You are correct. Years ago, I was a case management nurse that contracted with a workers compensation insurance company, and a failed drug test, meant no workers comp coverage.
