The argument being made was on religious grounds. Political beliefs are not religious beliefs. I’m no lawyer but The judge probably made the right decision. The suit should have been brought on grounds that he was discriminated against based on political beliefs.

Some assembly required
So much for our system of injustice.
Let’s ban judges from our places (we don’t like their immigration and sanctuary city ideas).
And anyone we know has been a talking head on CNN or MSNBC can’t get in (on general prejudice grounds plus denial of ugly people getting in).
That’s all okay now, or just bias against Trump people?Yeah, just against Trump people. That’s what I thought.
This “judge” might have opened a can of worms in setting a precedent for businesses to have the right to “discriminate”, for ANY reason.
This should translate to “I didn’t refuse to bake the wedding cake because they were gay, I refused because they were Hillary and Obama supporters.”
A business, is a business, is a business...and if they have live “customers”, the same rules should apply to them all.
So, businesses...feel free to post signs that say, “ATTENTION - WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE AND PRODUCTS TO LIBERALS/DEMOCRATS, INCLUDING SUPPORTERS OF HILLARY CLINTON AND BARACK OBAMA”.
See how that goes over.
Fight fire with fire.

Its a common-sense decision
So don’t me bake a cake for homosexuals.
That means that anyone of us could open up a bar in the the West Village and post a sign that says “Trump Supporters Only! No Democrats, RINOS, Liberals, Socialists or Advocates of the LGBTQ Agenda Allowed.”
Send in overtly gay Trump supporters wearing MAGA caps or T-shirts.
Find a Trump friendly place to spend your money
So... you can also then refuse to serve “gay supporters?”
This would, hypothetically, enable discrimination against blacks on the grounds that any person could reasonably assume they voted for Hillary.
I wish, with all my heart, that I could purchase a beautiful red MAGA hat and wear it proudly in public!!!
I live in the Baltimore suburbs, and while my county voted for President Trump, I am apprehensive about causing trouble!!!
Finally, it’s so hard for me to understand why virtually every American citizen wouldn’t want to show their support for our magnificent POTUS!!! We ought to be grateful GOD for blessing us with such a superb leader at this pivotal juncture in history!!!
Yet bakeries are forced to make wedding cakes for queer “marriages.”
It’s time to purge the courts by impeachments and convictions.

Being that the judge cannot render impartial decisions, the judge needs to be removed from the bench.
Then the same will apply to any red-state bar that throws out supporters of Biden, Fauxcahontas, or any of the other 90 losers who try to run in 2020.
Re: “supporting Trump is not a religion”
Isn’t that discrimination against atheists and agnostics?
But a bakery can’t refuse service to a couple of fags.
Private property rights for all!
I don’t have a problem with private businesses deciding with whom they would like to transact business.
