I just heard from my friend, and her Daddy, Ward, went peacefully into eternity with the Lord a short while ago. Thank you everyone for your prayers. Ward was just the sweetest and most loving man I ever knew who loved Jesus and never met a stranger. Please pray now, if you will, for the family to know the peace that passes all understanding as they deal with the loss of their beloved Father.

Oh... was praying for Ward (without posting) so this news really hit me. Prayers for your friend and her family. Ward is safe with the Lord now - no more Alzheimers.
And blessings to you - how great that your friend has someone to put out the word for a prayer request!

Oh my. I was praying for comfort for Ward after surgery but this wasn’t what I had in mind at all.
At least he’s in pain no more but I now pray for the family’s peace of mind in that knowledge. A tough night for them.
