I guess this shows how quickly we lose the technology of the past. My mom had these in her sewing kit. They have been around for probably 100 years.

Thanks for posting that! I inherited an old sewing box, and one of those Clover thing-a-ma-jig things was in it. I never knew what it was for until now.
