In heated interview with MSNBC’s Katy Tur, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) defended the position that the Mueller investigation should be ended, and responded to the statement from fellow Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy (S.C.) about President Donald Trump not acting guilty.

What wrong with standing up for your rights? What’s wrong with strongly maintaining your innocence? So this terd doesn’t like the first amendment? If the prosecutor didn’t like your speech, he can retaliate? Is that what he’s saying?

At this time it’s the utmost in arrogance for prosecutors to tell people to shut up. This entire Russian collusion has been a frame up by Dem prosecutors, so does this puke think that no one should question them?

Deep state probably has the goods on him.

Trey Gowdy is right this from the perspective of a prosecutor working an investigation. .

It is not clear that President Trump is helping himself with these tweets and he is making the downstream prosecution of the scum bags, already a difficult proposition , more difficult.

It is also good to channel Napoleon never interfere with the enemy while he is in the process of destroying himself.

In Trump's defense, the battle he is fighting is ultimately being played out in the court of public opinion and shaping public opinion to be receptive to the bad news that is coming is vital.

President Trump may not be the best one to tweet on Mueller though

I call them Institutionalists, not Constitutionalists. Tie always goes to the Deep State Institution, not the beleaguered citizen.

I consider Sessions one also. He defended the Bundy persecutors, whose case was thrown out with prejudice: knee-jerk response. He could have just kept his mouth shut, if he is really the Silent Assassin playing 3D Chess. It was purely gratuitous, and betrayed an indifference to rule of law and due process for an American citizen who just happens to be a little person at great odds with one of his precious Institutions.

This is what happens when cops become politicians. The just don't get the fact that unlike police work, there is no "Do it because I say so, I'm a cop!''. They just don't get it.

I thought Gowdy was on Trump’s side here, as a fellow Republican. But sounds like he is drinking the Russian Kool-Aid - or is it he is Deep Swamp and hates Trump. If it wasn’t for these GOP traitors this “investigation” would have been done long ago.

Indeed. I thought he was Tea Party? When did he go over to the dark side?
