I agree, but the Left has a following in the Rio Grand Valley, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas. And especially in some parts of Austin.
They have a predilection for electing Bushes.
Between Soros and the influx of illegals from Mexico and California, some of whom are American citizens, Texas is screwed.

Soros has publicly stated that he intends to control the states by controlling who is Secretary of State in each one. They of course, control the elections in their states.

We’re still trying to find out how Houston could have reported over 14,000 votes cast in early voting the day after it opened on Feb. 20. Even more puzzling, was the report in the Chronicle that some 7,500 were cast in person at the polling places. How were the other 50% cast on the first day, certainly not by absentee ballots.

I’m sure that the post 17th-amendment (17A) ratification Congress will do its duty to protect Texas and other states by exercising its constitutional power to guarantee all states a republican form of government.
"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

On second thought, patriots now need to be making sure that there are plenty of state sovereignty-respecting, Trump-supporting candidates on the 2018 primary ballots who will be willing to make election laws that promote republican forms of government in the states, and pink-slip career lawmakers left over from the lawless Obama Administration by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day.
And until the states wake up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.
