There are criteria for sainthood, which involves miracles being ascribed to the actions of the person.
I’m not Catholic and do t know the details. Hopefully someone who knows better can fill us in.
But the point is, he may well have been a great man, but not qualified for sainthood.
This thread reminds me of the baseball fans who say, “why isn’t so and so in the hall of fame? He was a great player who hit more home runs that so and so, who is in the hall of fame”.
Being a saint is not an issue which gets voted on based on the greatness or contributions to the faith of someone.
I think you mean miracles... I believe in them, don’t you?
