The only problem I have with the NRA is that they call INCESSANTLY from what seems, spoofed phone numbers, when your membership is about to run out. If they didn’t do that I would say they’d have MORE members.

I have fired guns when I was in the military, back in the 80s, but it’s been a long time. I’m in Kalifornistan, but... once the student loan is paid off (very soon) I might get one. Just a hand gun.

Just took out a 5 year membership. Best $140.00 I ever spent.

How long have you been a member? I've been a life member for over 40 years. They haven't called me for at least 10 years.

I have been an NRA Member since 2002. I usually renewed every 5 years. In the fall of 2016 when my membership was up for renewal, I saw Hillary on TV declaring that one of her enemies was the NRA and that she was declaring War on them. Not ISIS, IRAN Hezbollah, Cold Blooded Police Shooters, The NRA. I retrieved and application sent to me to become a lifetime member of the NRA, wrote out the check while Hillary was still speaking (ranting actually), and walked the envelope to the mailbox. She was still on her soap box when I got back.
This was one of the most satisfying moments of my NRA membership. At 70 years of age I am an official Enemy of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
So enjoy the moment of joining the NRA in protest to the insanity of this assault against the oldest Civil Rights Organization in the world because that is that the National Rifleman Association of America is and now you are part of it.

Rush did some investigating and it turns out that there are only about a couple of dozen or so people who are organized and send out these mass email and Twitter campaigns to corporations, making it seem like all of America is pissed off.
These companies need to hire good PR people when faced with this crap.
Funny thing is, is that these leftists don't even patronize these companies anyway. You think they use Enterprise to rent a car?

Funny you should say that. My cousin was an IT for Raytheon for 30 years. He told me to stop wasting money on Norton and that Windows Defender will do the same thing for free.
To: AbolishCSEU
Me, too. I renewed for 5 years at $125.

I made a donation instead of joining since I don’t own a gun, although I did take a gun safety course. I support people’s right to own guns and am concerned about these unjustified attacks on the NRA when it was the government employees on so many levels who failed.

Ive got some bad news for Lifelock and Norton myself.I just called and tried to cancel my Lifelock memberships because of the crap they pulled with the NRA i.e. canceling the discounts. They not only reinstated the discount they upped it to 25% {which for me was about $100 per year}. I bitched but kept the service and just donated the saved $100 to FR.
All FReepers that use Lifelock should call and cancel, and if you decide to keep the service, you will save 25%, if not, screw them.
WIN, WIN.
