Well, Trump has earned a lot of political capital. I'll wait and see; trust and be optimistic. But, to tell the truth, everyone who negotiates with the devil loses. A "republic" is founded upon unalienable (God-given) rights that cannot be negotiated away. One of those rights is "freedom" and another is "defense". The republic is lost the moment our inalienable rights are negotiated away. That is huge. That is CWII worthy.

I very much agree with you, however, keep in mind, the founding fathers in all their wisdom did put provisions in the Constitution for amending. The 2A CAN be amended...I dont want it to be, and believe it wont be, but understand it can be done. Heck, alcohol was prohibited by Constitutional Amendment at one time. And not that long ago, relative to the age of our country.
