I agree with that. Citizenship for service goes back to Rome. If someone is willing to die for our country, I think that puts them at the front of the line.
I agree. If they serve and are honorably discharged after their service they go to the head of the immigrant to citizen line in my book.

Then again can do what ‘we’ did way back when - When it was ‘inconvenient’ to bring Blacks into ‘White USN’, the powers that be imported Philipinos to do the ‘$hiite jobs (mostly were orderlies into the 60s or Stewards Mates) I think they were granted citizenship after a set point of service.
When ‘accepted’ into fleet wide you would more than likely see them in ‘Supply type roles - Storekeepers, Ships Serviceman, Disbursing etc’
