I agree. If they serve and are honorably discharged after their service they go to the head of the immigrant to citizen line in my book.

I visited Pearl Harbor a few weeks ago. On leaving through the visitor’s gate near the Arizona Memorial I passed a group of what appeared to be airforce ROTC cadets. A full 25% of these 17 - 20 year olds had enough tats on their arms to look like combat Marines who had already done their first enlistment. But what really bothered me was all the grab-@ssing going on. Several were grappling and slapping eachother around — IN UNIFORM. There appeared to be no officers or enlisted supervisors. But no detail should be left without somebody in charge, so I assume that would be the senior Cadet-officer. This is what you’re getting America.

I would take this as deep state propaganda. Why would a defense news publication attack Matthis? Well, some several defense contractors are probably getting their oxen gored right about now. He is s a marine’s marine. He takes care of his troops. Defense contractors take care of themselves, first and always. Some deliver way overpriced products that work. Some don’t.

I always thought that that the military service path to citizenship for immigrants applied to LEGAL or Green Card holding immigrants, not illegals like the so-called 20-30 something gang banging MS13 DACA ‘kids’.

Well, Green Card-holding immigrants don’t need a special path to citizenship, they just need to live in the USA and not commit any crimes for five years. It was always my understanding that military service was one of the few ways to fix being in an “uninspected” or illegal immigrant status.

Then again can do what ‘we’ did way back when - When it was ‘inconvenient’ to bring Blacks into ‘White USN’, the powers that be imported Philipinos to do the ‘$hiite jobs (mostly were orderlies into the 60s or Stewards Mates) I think they were granted citizenship after a set point of service.

When ‘accepted’ into fleet wide you would more than likely see them in ‘Supply type roles - Storekeepers, Ships Serviceman, Disbursing etc’
