Dad means well but he's fooling himself, here. I can just about guarantee that his daughter is completely aware of how to change this setting, then change it back again.
Too bad this dad didn’t put a lot more work into his marriage, including choice of a partner, and into the family’s values, prayer life and religious education, his daughter’s from early childhood, preceded by his own, and his wife’s, as partners in Christ. He said himself he was more concerned about being the cool dad.
IMO, no-fault divorce has wrought great harm.
Even before computers young girls managed to get themselves into all kinds of trouble. I’m reliably informed that Romeo and Juliet was actually written as a comedy.
Wow. What country is this? Article doesn’t say and some of his language is not standard American expressions.
Eye opener for me, as well. Yipes.
Yeah, some of the spellings, as well as some of the expressions, tell me it may be Great Britain.
The spelling suggests Britain, and “M” is probably “Mohammed” or a variant.
England
The dad mentions this law that went into effect:
Some public schools are allowing adults to groom jr. high kids now. They do it in the name of sexual equality and freedom and safety for gays. They tell the kids not to tell their parents what they talk about...
Allowing your kid to join a “gay/ straight” club or any other sex club or sexual identity activity, is like just turning them over to perverts.
If you let your children on social media, you are fooling yourself..... PERIOD.
“What country is this?”
Based on spelling and idioms, I’m guessing England.
Agree... no social media here until the age of 18... at that point there’s nothing a parent can do, many are off to college and by that point you better have a good head on your shoulders anyway...
For kids younger than 18.. do not not pay for them to have their own phone/lap top/computer 2. change the wifi password to your house routinely and turn it off every night at 10:00 pm.
phones are handy... my kids get flip phones... no internet access on those...just texting...
schools put a lot of homework online now, which makes things more challenging. all computer activity is done in the dining room/living room... it’s just the way it has to be... it won’t make your kid popular, but trust me, you don’t want that anyway...not in 2018.
Thanks for posting. I learned a lot.
Glad to be useful.
Good to know.
Boy, how Christ like are you, you judgmental sanctimonious prig. You dare mention Christ? Your attitude is exactly what turns people away from religion. Must be nice to be such a perfect specimen of humanity.
