One of them was ranting yesterday that this is all about Trump trying to distract the American public from the investigation to prove his Russian collusion.
He called it “way worse than Watergate..”

We are witnessing a coup (or attempted). I have always wondered how certain pivotal historical events of countries evolve;how countries fall and civil war flares.
I'm afraid you're correct. Someone commented yesterday about how the left’s reaction to the memo was evidence that our side and theirs live in different ‘realities’. I think that is true, and that in their ‘reality’ there is no tolerance for much of the America we love and recognize. Joy Reid's comment about President Trump's SOTU address illustrates how far a gulf between us there is:
“Church ... family ... police ... military ... the national anthem ... Trump trying to call on all the tropes of 1950s-era nationalism. The goal of this speech appears to be to force the normalization of Trump on the terms of the bygone era his supporters are nostalgic for.”
Their side doesn't care what the truth is, or if laws are broken, as long as the rest of us are forced to live in their reality - in which their beliefs, thoughts and way of life are held superior to all others. We're becoming balkanized, and that is not something it is easy to walk back.

I’ve been beating this drum since day one. If true (and I believe it is) this will be be the biggest political scandal in the history of the United States.
And it should be. And I think there are people who know this.
I agree that Nixon was no conservative in certain respects (EPA, price controls, etc) but the man obviously loved his country and broke the law trying to protect it. He didn’t do it for personal gain.

The "Left's" takeover of this country had been coming for decades. They are still at it especially in the schools and the media.
It's far from over. With each day's passing, the effects of the indoctrination in most of the "education system" is devastating. Young people come out of their schools and their frame of reference is POISONED.
