Commercial music sucked then ...I remember it well

Maggie May and maybe American Woman only true rock numbers on there

The rest is AM radio or Disco trash

The mystery is how did the 70s manage to suck so bad after all of that music we had in the 60s.

But then that list is just the commercial stuff.

Well, you copied all the contenders.

Now, you need to pick which of each pair is best!

Hi - I think you skipped near the end.

Bad Girls vs. How Deep is your Love

Did you want to vote, or pass?

Oh wait - Were your “ranking” in each pair? So the “1” means you choose that song for the pair?

So I put you down for the #1s on your list, not the #2s. Correct?

Never noticed the 1s and 2s until I was going through everyone’s lists trying to count up stuff. Assumed you just copied my Billboard ranks.

TOURNAMENT OF CHART-TOPPERS 1970S PING LIST
(This is a temporary ping list, so don’t worry!)

Just another ping for any who haven’t voted yet! 16 winners to pick here.

Currently 1 tie, and a couple close ones. (I still have to make my picks as well as my husband; maybe it’ll break.) Many are run-aways.

I’m sad some of my “awesome!” songs are losing again! And cannot stand the idea of certain legends not being in the sweet 16! Guess I have to be glad they made it to 32.
