"Liar" is my favorite.
Three Dog Night’s covers of The Band’s “Chest Fever” in ‘69, Laura Nyro’s “Eli’s Commin’”, Harry Nilsson’s “One”, Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness”, the Musical HAIR’s “Easy To Be Hard”, Dave Mason’s “Feelin’ Alright”, Stevie Winwood’s “Heaven In Your Mind”, Paul Roger’s “Woman”, Paul Williams’ “Out in The Country”, Dave Loggins’ “Pieces Of April”, Stevie Wonder’s “I Never Dreamed You’d Leave Me in Summer”, Alan “Happy Together” Gordon’s “Celebrate” and Russ “God Gave Rock and Roll to You” Ballard’s “Liar” were all awesome live experiences and made 3DN one of the greatest must-see cover bands of the 70s. Hoyt Axton’s novelty “Joy To The World”, not so much imho - although I suppose it is their best known, most requested and highest charting song.
