Editorial comment: Note the last para. where Horowitz says basically that he’s investigating the conduct of DOJ/FBI employees and not re-investigating the underlying crimes. That’s why you have seen AG Sessions re-open the Clinton Email and Clinton Foundation investigations among others in recent days. The two dovetail together: Horowitz’s report will identify wrongdoing by the FBI and DOJ staff, while the other newly-reopened investigations will look at the facts of the underlying crimes. The magnitude of this is so great they have been intentionally slow-walking it in order to gradually acclimate US citizens to the notion that their government is terribly corrupt, so as not to wreak havoc on the stock market and the economy by just dropping the big one all at once.
Note also that the OIG has stated that this one-year investigation has included the review of 1.2 million documents. Think about that a bit.
The line for those who wish to beat the rush in posting their apologies to AG Sessions forms on the left...
you were always prescient.... :)
thanks!
Granted, Obama won't go down - too much plausible deniability. But Hillary could possibly face a Grand Jury, not to mention her underlings as well the complicit DOJ/FBI people. I don't expect it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Comey face a Grand Jury. There are already proven facts and witnesses that show his complicity in many matters.
However, it's going to be difficult to prove the pay-for-play regarding the Clinton Foundation.
Am I the only who has noticed that Hillary, Comey, Huma, and others have been silent of late with all the new revelations coming out daily?
I'm sure it took Sessions an entire year to assemble facts/documentation prior to taking this step. He is a former prosecutor who was called “the silent executioner” in Alabama.
