According to the guidelines of the reward programs:Employees can opt not to have their names publicly as recipients because of personal privacy exemptions under the Freedom of Information Act. While most winners agree to public recognition, some are reluctant to do so because it is easy to figure out the amount of their Presidential Rank Award since it is based on publicly-available federal salaries. And there has been a perception among some senior executives and other observers that the administration in recent years has pressured federal agencies to avoid drawing attention to the annual winners of the nations highest award for civil service and the hefty bonuses they receive because of the sensitive fiscal and political climate.
Oh my.
My, my, my.
Follow the money.
If by US gov check, then there is record of the disbursements.
The source is Tax dollars. The recipient and amount is private. Which doesn’t make any sense either. As I’ve said in the past the bureaucracy is out of control and accountable to no one. This has to stop!!!
they can always give them a book advance. thats always a good one. You dont have to sell a book
Unbelievable. 35 to 50 thousand dollar bonuses to law enforcement? If a local cop or sheriff gave out “bonuses” like that the FBI would try to create a federal case for corruption!
None Dare Call It Treason
........been thinking the exact same thing! To send a message to the next century’s agents, alive and unborn,.............bulldoze the fng DC building and leave it a vacant lot forever and grow corn on it! Permanently Brand the “FBI” a failure and a disgraced agency.
Then, take away their guns and have “Investigators Only” which was the original intent and scatter those offices out into the capital cities of all 50 states.
I say each state because the individual agents and hierarchy would HATE being forced to live their lives and their families lives in small town, ordinary, plain ole folks America. This way, to live and work in Washington would be considered a Grand Prize.
Arguably the agency could just become a sub ordinate part of the existing 500 Investigator IG office.
It’s “Mission” should be reduced to assignment of 10 agents each PERMANENTLY to all 535 legislators, plus the SC, plus 100 on a Democratic President.
Local & State Police, DEA, ATF handle everything else.
bttt
I do not see anything in the article that states the money came from private sources.
It looks to be government money given to private individuals (FBI agents/managers).
So tell me again what’s wrong with investment bankers awarding themselves $1M bonuses out of TARP funds when they were bailed out by the taxpayer. Apparently it’s how the system works.
And then turned over and have the other side done as well!
If the FBI is this thoroughly corrupted, I can only imagine how bad it is in agencies we already knew were full of scammers. HUD, EPA, etc.
The Kenyanesian Usurpation may yet be the death of America.
Yeah all these America loving agents, outraged, just outraged at Hillary getting a get out of jail free card from the FBI administration, saints all they are. In a pigs eye!
They make the 1920s Chicago police department look like Wyat Earp and Elliot Nese
No federal employees should get even a nickle in bonuses. What are we giving them bonuses for and how is it determined? Seems like the more incompetent and corrupt the more the bonus
Obama spent 8 years undermining America.. We knew it would be bad.. We didn’t know it would be This bad. We knew electing President Trump was our only hope.
Stasi
Criminals...Traitors...I guess being a “public servant” needs to be redefined. Invest in rope futures.
Hard to believe ithe rep of the once great fbi could sink any deeper in to the gutter.
And so far, not a single one of these criminals have been charged?
Great f-ing system
