The “protest” over egg prices is totally over. Completely finished. Much about nothing. Lasted 3 days.
Good informative article.
BS. The Iranian theocracy is going to fall.
You are being sarcastic.? When do you perceive that happening?
Obama was a sock puppet for Valerie Jarrett. A native Iranian. Her fingerprints are all over those billions...going to Iran and coming back to Obama and her.
Not unless their military decides to join the protests.
You eventually have to match power with power.
The “Iranian Revolt” story has dropped off the news feeds. Sad, if true.
Excellent, thanks for the ping. I believe the only way this works is if there’s a military coup. It’s got a long way to go, but I hope this is only the beginning.
What is happening in Iran is certainly organic in that this unhappiness has been gestating for a while.
What it needed and got was a nudge from Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the U.S. (said nudge being in terms of morale boost, financial support, and weapons). There is an underground stream to provide all the rebels need.
No direct involvement needed by aforementioned countries.
This is just getting started.
The Iranian theocrats are amateurs.
Saddam held them at bay for years.
Trump and Mattis are going to break their flimsy hold on the wonderful people of Persia.
Get a grip and start watching and picking the news apart. The "truth is out there" re: Iran. It will be coming apart soon.
Trump and Mattis are big thinkers.
Whatever you used to think and however you arrived at those conclusions...forget them all.
This is a whole new ball game.
You can be wrong and get corrected...and become a new and improved model by morning.
I have many, many times...thx to folks wiser and smarter than me.
But don't get me wrong.
I am not a subservient sort.
But I still know how to recognize those from whom I can learn.
And there are plenty of them right here at Free Republic.
Iran had a revolution and the ayatollahs won . It ended in 1978.It hasn’t changed because 20 people are demonstrating over egg prices. The real enemy is Saudi Arabia which owes us for 911, Al qaeda and Isis. All funded by the sunni saudis. Iran hasn’t attacked this country . They are Shiites. Very different.
Really? Who supplied all the IEDs and technical know how to the insurgency in IRAQ? The tooth fairy?
Unless you are a Shiite, Iran is also an enemy of humanity.
The Persians are a great people. Islam has enslaved them.
The Mullahs will fall.
This newbie is apparently an Iranian apologist.
I sincerely hope you’re right. If traditional methods of news suppression have been made obsolete by IT, then great.
But regimes have the power to interdict both internet & social media as they are doing in Iran, and this time with the active collusion of the MSM in America.
It’s called “net neutrality”. And only DJT with his amazing power to bypass the MSM with Twitter, as Reagan once did on TV, can defeat their intentional news blackouts.
An Obama butt boy for sure.
