It was actually discussed prominantly during the primary campaign, in which other Republican candidates complained of the fact that Trump got all the air time.Remember the occasion when a network did a hit piece on Reagan, and its anchorman tweeked Reagan’s counselor Ed Rollins about how they had hammered Reagan on TV? Rollins replied that people don’t listen to those reports, they more so look at them - and the visuals they had put up of Reagan were great for Reagan’s campaign!
The media were shocked - and did studies and determined that Rollins was right!
I thought you would find that take interesting...by their hatred, they are actually helping out the people they seek to demonize.
There is a savory irony in it, the only drawback of that is that many of them are unable to stand back and actually SEE what they are doing...unable to see the forest for the trees.
I enjoy your take on these things, because it is obvious you have given it much thought over the years...:)
