Local Ranch supply has .22 LR for about 3 cents per round, but it is LEAD bullets—no copper jacket—and is made in MEXICO.

Leaves the barrel too dirty. I need .22 LR—copper jacketed—Hollow Point. Found it available at Wal Mart for 5.2 cents per round.

There is no copper jacketed .22 rimfire, although I did see Aguilla prototypes some years ago at the Shot Show. The “copper” is plated onto lead HV rimfires. 17s and .22 magnums are jacketed.

That is likely the Aguilla brand, probably their Standard Velocity. I have heard good reviews lately. Is it reliable? that is the most important thing.

Three cents a round is an interesting figure.

Do you know where you saw it at that price? I have seen it on line as low as 3.6 cents a round.
