I can’t believe I read this whole thread - what a huge waste of time. But, there’s not much else going on here on FR in the wee hours following Christmas, and I can’t stop coughing so I’m sitting up and bored.
There seems to be a type that thinks being cryptic and mysterious will make their non answers sound wise and all-knowing.
They hope their total lack of accountability will suggest a intuition that transcends mere reason, and so they say things like “Ah, young grasshopper - your journey toward understanding has only begun”.
I knew a woman way into astrology who talked that way - that kind of BS only works on a certain breed of fools.
