From what I have read, those armed with the M1 carbine where pretty much unarmed..
the anemic round would not penetrate Chinese winter coats.

I had the honor of meeting a few guys that were combat vets of WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. They said Korea was the absolute Worse Ever.
