I’m my own biggest fan. I’m delusionally fascinated by myself. I love the sound of my own voice. If you don’t feel like that, fake it until you believe it. If you like yourself, it’s the sexiest thing in the world.
My mother grew up in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany. I say “Nazi Germany” as much as I can, because I refuse to let them get away with it. She had a horrific childhood. But through her eyes I’ve learned to be positive and not cynical, and always keep moving forward. I got everything important from my mother. My entire moral code comes from her.
Success is about what you do with what you have. At school, they teach you that we are all born equal. That’s horseshit. School doesn’t prepare you for anything. Life has no rules. Some people are born smarter; some people are born able to run faster. You’re not supposed to say that, but it’s true. Unfair, but it’s true.

wow hard to believe a guy could thrive within the rock and roll culture and not get high on some sort of drugs or at least drunk, especially working in the KISS genre, he would have had to stay emotionally detatched and just be going to a job on stage

Simmons couldn’t get high on drugs or booze lest he risk impotence. He claims he’s bedded thousands of women.
“We like Springsteen” translates to:
1) Springsteen can afford lawyers as good as Kiss’ lawyers.
2) Springsteen has lots of those fans and some of those fans probably also buy kiss records.
Potential money made by suing Springsteen < Potential money lost by suing Springsteen.

KISS was worthless beyond words.I couldn’t care how much,or how little,booze and drugs he’s used.
I saw this guy with KISS (which I understood to mean "Kids in Satan's Service") in the 70's and I thought this guy would be in Hell soon. Of course that was before i learned about the grace of God.
I'm praying for him. I believe if he has a seeking heart which part of me feels he does, he'll come to Jesus. Yes, he's a Jew, but certainly not bound by Jewish orthodoxy even though, amazingly, at one point he wanted to be a rabbi.

I believe Simmons finally decided to marry her about four years ago. Before that they were boyfriend/girlfriend.

Neither did Red Nugent.
From what I understand, Ted Nugent was/is pretty much the same way. I believe I heard/read he's kicked out band members who partied.
Frank Zappa was another one who wasn’t fond of mind altering substances, and didn’t have a lot of patience for those that were.
