So...
You’re really keen on bloggers and Milo.
Wow.
Camilia Paglia’s obnoxious anti-feminine piece on American womanhood, in the Hollywood Reporter:
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/camille-paglia-takes-taylor-swift-845827
When she writes, “Writing about Taylor Swift is a horrific ordeal for me because her twinkly persona is such a scary flashback to the fascist blondes who ruled the social scene during my youth,” it confirms what I has suspected. Feminists are really envious women. They envy other women whose attractiveness—both physical and personality—is perceived to be better than them. These feminists are really fit the stereotype of women who are said to be like cats, clawing themselves up over other women in the race to be the Queen before the looking glass. So pathetic from a woman who was attractive in her early years.
Perhaps her nature turned off men in her collage years. She was almost expelled from Bennington College for 47 major pranks including staging a fist fight at the college dance. Her open lesbianism did not endear her to the male college population and their reaction to her pushed her to hate that which she caused by her own self-centered nature.
An interesting interview about her college years can be read here:
and there it is...
Wow! I read that book in 7th grade, decades ago.
Entertainers are, by and large, completely insubstantial people. Why do we pay them so much attention?
I can generally see where she is coming from even if I disagree with her so I was rather stunned by the attack on Taylor Swift. I asked a number of her fans (Paglia's fans not Taylor's) for the reasoning behind the attack and, the most coherent response I got was that "Taylor has people up on stage and so did Hitler."
At that point I stopped asking.
Swift understands that people are there to hear her sing, not listen to her political or social commentary.
I wish other singers that I like would take the hint.
Everyone the left doesn't like is Hitler!
LOL, long my she reign.
I am too. So what?
Im sure its mutual.
